ARES Shipyard participated in the Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX 2025), held in Cairo on 8–11 December 2025, bringing together leading institutions of the defense industry. Throughout the event, the company’s extensive product portfolio was presented to international visitors, and productive meetings were held with senior representatives from various countries.
Wide Product Range Drew Attention at the Expo
The platforms showcased at the fair — ARES 35 KB, ARES 65 SAT, ARES 150 BOLD, ARES 85 BOLD, BMT Catamaran, and ULAQ 15 MPV — were examined in detail by delegations from multiple regions. In particular, ULAQ 15 MPV stood out as one of the most popular products of the event and received numerous demo requests from several institutions.
ARES 35 KB attracted strong interest from delegations of Egypt, Jordan, and Algeria, while the ARES 65 SAT model was evaluated by Gulf countries for its operational capabilities. The ARES 150 BOLD and ARES 85 BOLD platforms drew notable attention from African countries seeking patrol solutions. The BMT Catamaran, meanwhile, was recognized as a cost-effective and flexible option for coastal security missions.
International Engagements Took Center Stage
Official meetings held during the event further strengthened ARES Shipyard’s position in the region. The Egyptian Ministry of Defense requested technical documentation, marking a significant step toward deepening cooperation. The Algerian Navy initiated a detailed review of the ARES 85 BOLD platform. The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Interior requested additional information regarding the integration of ULAQ 15 MPV, signaling the potential for a future partnership.
