ULAQ has signed a Cooperation Agreement with SAMI Autonomous on the sidelines of the World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh, marking a strategic step toward strengthening advanced industrial partnerships and advancing unmanned maritime capabilities within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The agreement aims to develop an integrated national ecosystem for unmanned and autonomous maritime systems through advanced technology transfer, co-development, and local production. This collaboration supports the localization of sovereign maritime capabilities and aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The scope of cooperation includes the design, development, and manufacturing of unmanned maritime systems within the Kingdom, in addition to the provision of maintenance and technical support services. The partnership is expected to enhance future readiness across the defense and security sectors.
This agreement reflects the mutual commitment of both parties to building sustainable capabilities, increasing local content, and supporting the Kingdom’s industrial transformation in the defense and maritime sectors.
